Short answer: Only to a limited extent, and it depends on your region. According to the Exness Help Center, an account with just an email, phone and personal information has a low deposit limit; adding the economic profile and a valid proof of identity (POI) raises the limit; and an account with proof of address (POA) accepted is fully verified with no deposit limits other than those of the payment method. Some regions disable deposits until the account is fully verified, and some restrict all trading. Check your Personal Area for your own limits.

What each verification level allows
| Level | What you have completed | Deposits (per Exness) |
|---|---|---|
| Registered | Email and/or phone plus personal information | Low deposit limit across all trading accounts |
| Partly verified | Above, plus economic profile and valid proof of identity | Still limited, but more can be deposited than before |
| Fully verified | Above, plus accepted proof of address | No deposit limits except those of the payment method |
Exness also says an account must be fully verified before all trading functions are activated, and that payment transactions become available only after verification. For the steps, see our Exness verification guide.
Why Exness asks for KYC
Exness gives three reasons: security (stopping others from using your identity or funds), financial regulation (its entities are authorised in different jurisdictions and must verify clients) and service quality. Document checks are done by a specialised team bound by confidentiality agreements, and Exness says checks can take up to 24 hours.
Exness KYC documents
| Proof of identity (POI) | Proof of address (POA) | |
|---|---|---|
| Examples | Passport, national ID, driver's licence | Utility bill, recent bank statement, local tax bill, bank reference letter |
| Name | Must match the account holder | Must match the POI exactly |
| Date rules | Valid for 3 months from upload; holder 18 or older | Issued within the past six months |
| Quality | All four edges visible, legible, both sides if more than one page | Same |
| Files | .jpg, .bmp, .png, .pdf up to 50 MB | Same |
Identity documents are not accepted as proof of address. Some regions accept one document that shows both identity and address; the Personal Area tells you.
Can you use someone else's documents or payment account?
No. Exness does not accept third-party payments, and the payment account name must match the name on your Exness account. Documents must belong to the account holder. Trying to avoid verification with another person's details can lead to rejected payments and a closed account.
What to do if your deposit is blocked
- Open the Personal Area and look at your verification status and trading restrictions.
- Complete the economic profile and upload the POI and POA.
- Wait up to 24 hours; if there is no update, open a ticket in the support hub.
- Check the method's limits on the Deposit tab; they apply even for fully verified accounts.
