Short answer: Exness has a Jordan-specific entity, Exness (JO) Limited, and its Help Center sets different rules for clients registered with it: a 20% stop out level, no Stop Out Protection, and a maximum of 5 real trading accounts. Press coverage in October 2025 reported that Exness obtained an operating licence from the Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) and opened an office in Amman; confirm it on the JSC's own register. Jordan is also on the swap-free country list, and the Jordanian dinar (JOD) is an account currency.

What a 20% stop out means in practice. Margin level is equity divided by used margin. A stop out closes positions when that ratio falls to the stop out level. As an illustration only: with USD 500 of margin in use, a 20% level closes positions when equity falls to about USD 100, while a 0% level would let equity fall to zero first. The Jordan setting therefore closes losing positions earlier, which leaves a larger part of your balance in the account but ends trades sooner. A margin call warning arrives before that: it is at 60% on Standard and Standard Cent and 30% on Pro, Raw Spread and Zero. Negative Balance Protection resets a negative balance to zero after a stop out. Our general explanation is in stop out.

Leverage. Maximum leverage depends on the equity in the trading account and the entity serving you can set tighter limits. Whether the standard tiers apply unchanged to Jordanian clients is not stated on the pages we read, so confirm the figure for your account when you open it; the general tiers are in the leverage guide. High leverage does not change risk per trade; a tight stop-loss with a large lot can still lose the account on a short move.

Accounts. JOD is available on Standard, Pro, Raw Spread and Zero. Standard suits most beginners with a low minimum that depends on the payment method; Pro, Raw Spread and Zero need at least USD 200 in some regions. Raw Spread is commission-based, with XAUUSD at 3.5 USD per lot per side, and Zero charges 5.5 USD per lot per side on XAUUSD. See account types.

The Jordan Securities Commission and how to verify

The Jordan Securities Commission supervises the capital market in Jordan. Exness's Help Center refers to "Exness (JO) Limited" as the Jordanian entity, and trade press in October 2025 reported a JSC operating licence and a new Amman office. Those reports repeat a company announcement, and we could not open the JSC register or exness.com (it blocked automated access), so treat the licence as reported, not independently confirmed. The client agreement in your Personal Area names the company that serves you.

How to check in ten minutes:

  1. Register and read the footer of your Personal Area for the company name that serves you.
  2. Search that company on the list of licensed companies at the Jordan Securities Commission: www.jsc.gov.jo.
  3. Read the client agreement for the named company, its regulator and the complaint route.
  4. Treat claims on third-party review sites as unverified until they match steps 2 and 3.

Exness operates through several group companies authorised by different financial regulators around the world. The company that serves you is named in your client agreement and in the footer of your Personal Area. Check the current list on Exness's regulation page and confirm it on the regulator's own register. For the wider picture, see Exness regulation; Forex broker UAE is the closest regional comparison page we have.

JOD accounts and the 0.709 peg

The dinar is pegged at about 0.709 per US dollar, so a USD account has little exchange-rate risk for a Jordan resident. A deposit of JOD 709 equals about USD 1,000 before any fee or margin on the rate, and one dinar is worth about USD 1.41, so balances in JOD look small next to the same amount in dollars.

Choose the account currency when you create the trading account; it cannot be changed later. JOD is on the Help Center list, and so are USD, EUR and GBP. Standard Cent accounts are offered only in cent currencies such as USC, so a JOD account means Standard, Pro, Raw Spread or Zero. Conversions apply when your payment method is in a different currency from the account currency, and on a JOD account every profit and loss is converted into dinars. Use the rate your bank or provider shows on the day.

Exness does not publish payment methods by country. What is available to you depends on your region, verification and provider availability, and appears in the Deposit tab of your Personal Area. Payments must come from accounts in your own name, and limits stay until you are fully verified. Withdrawals go back by the currency and route of the deposit. Details are in Exness deposit and withdrawal and minimum deposit.

Swap-free status in Jordan

Exness does not ask Jordanian clients to submit a separate Islamic account request. For clients registered from the listed countries, swap-free status is assigned automatically and applies to every trading account in the same Personal Area, with zero swap on all instruments. To confirm, open Trading conditions under Exness benefits in your Personal Area and select Swap-Free.

  • Exness says an overnight administrative fee may apply on some instruments, so read the instrument specification instead of assuming the fee is zero.
  • Clients from other countries have swap-free trading on eligible instruments by default.
  • Swap-free is a product feature. Whether it meets your religious requirements is a question for a qualified scholar.

Full details are in Exness swap-free and Islamic account guide.

Amman hours: UTC+3 all year

Jordan uses UTC+3 all year. Platform charts use Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+0), which the Help Center says cannot be changed, so convert times before you place a news trade. Jordan's weekend is Friday and Saturday, while the forex market closes in the early hours of Saturday and reopens in the early hours of Monday Jordan time. Tokyo opens at about 03:00 Jordan time, London at about 11:00 (10:00 during UK summer time) and New York at about 16:00 (15:00 during US summer time); US data releases usually arrive at about 16:30 (15:30). For instrument-specific sessions, see Exness trading hours.

Opening an account from Jordan

Register with your email and choose Jordan as your country; the region sets your payment methods and cannot be changed afterwards. A demo account uses virtual funds and needs no deposit (demo guide). To go live, verify with a valid government ID and proof of address that matches your country of residence (verification), open an account in your currency on MT4, MT5, the Exness Terminal or the Exness Trade app, and deposit by a method shown in the Deposit tab, in your own name. Keep the 5-account cap in mind when you plan separate accounts for different strategies. Support is available 24/7, including in Arabic. If you move permanently to another country you must register a new account there, according to the Help Center.

Reviews, scams and tax

Exness says it belongs to The Financial Commission, whose compensation fund covers only its own judgments up to a set limit (EUR 20,000 per client) and does not cover trading losses. Before you rely on a review, check its date and whether the reviewer names the company on their account. Typical warning signs in the region: a "manager" who contacts you on WhatsApp or Telegram, promises of fixed monthly returns, requests to send funds to a personal account, or a link that is not the official Exness domain. Exness staff never ask for your password or one-time code.

Tax rules for individuals and companies differ and they change. The Income and Sales Tax Department is the body to ask about trading income, and you should also consider the tax law of any other country where you are resident.
