Exness Nepal: Demo, Deposit in NPR and Legal Status (2026)

Short answer: Traders in Nepal register on Exness with an email address and a Nepali mobile number, verify identity and address, then pick a demo or live account. Sources we found disagree on how this applies to individuals trading with overseas brokers: some describe speculative forex through unlicensed brokers as restricted, others describe it as not specifically regulated. NPR, USD and conversion costs

With no NPR account, a Nepali trader funding a USD account pays the exchange rate plus any bank or provider fee, in both directions. NPR is managed against the Indian rupee, and its value against the dollar moves with the dollar-rupee rate. Example with an assumed rate, not a quote: at USD 1 = NPR 135, NPR 6,750 buys USD 50. If the rate moves to NPR 140 when you withdraw, the same USD 50 returns NPR 7,000 with no trading profit at all. Check the fee shown at the payment step before confirming. If remittance is how money normally leaves Nepal for you, ask your bank how it treats payments to overseas brokers.

The London and New York overlap, usually the most active window for major pairs and gold, falls at roughly 18:45 to 22:45 Nepal time in winter. Tax

The Inland Revenue Department administers income tax in Nepal (ird.gov.np). We found no guidance on offshore CFD gains, so ask a Nepali accountant how profits and remittances would be treated, and keep dated records of every transfer with its NPR value.

A cautious first month

Run the demo for several weeks and keep a log of at least 50 trades with stop-losses. Cap risk per trade (1% of the account is a common rule), set a daily loss limit, and decide beforehand what you will do after a losing streak.
