Short answer: Tunisia is on the Exness Help Center's swap-free list, so a client registered from Tunisia gets zero swap on all instruments without a separate Islamic account. The Tunisian dinar (TND) is not an Exness account currency, so you choose USD or EUR, and the dinar is not freely convertible, which makes the transfer of funds the main practical issue. Exness lists support in Arabic but not in French. Open the free demo first, and treat the country list on the registration form as the final check on availability.

Is Exness available in Tunisia?

The Exness footer says it does not serve residents of the USA, Canada, Iran, North Korea, Europe, the UK, Russia and Belarus "and others". Tunisia is not named, and Tunisia is not part of the European Union, but "and others" means the registration form is the authority. You pick Tunisia as your country of residence; if service is offered, you can continue. Exness applies a residence rule: you must permanently and lawfully live in a country it serves and prove it with an identity document and an address document. A Tunisian citizen living abroad registers under the country of residence, if Exness serves it.

USD or EUR for Tunisian traders?

TND is not in the account currency list, so Tunisian clients usually choose between USD and EUR. The choice is permanent for that account.

Exchange control and sending money from Tunisia

Tunisia applies foreign-exchange rules, and the dinar is not freely convertible. The Central Bank of Tunisia (bct.gov.tn) sets the framework, and individuals are generally allowed only limited amounts of foreign currency for travel or specific purposes. We have not verified the current allowances or whether a payment to a foreign trading platform qualifies, so the answer has to come from your bank. Practical points:

  1. Ask your bank in writing what you may send abroad, with what documents, and whether trading-related payments are accepted.
  2. The Deposit tab is the only list of available methods. Exness does not publish payment options by country, and they depend on your registered region, verification and provider uptime.
  3. Only your own name. Exness refuses third-party payments, whether a friend's card or an account abroad.
  4. Withdrawals usually return to the method used to deposit. Withdrawal processing time can vary by payment method. See Exness payments and withdrawal time.
  5. Keep records of amounts, dates and bank statements, since foreign-currency movements may be queried later.

If your bank does not allow the transfer, use the demo. Do not look for another person's account or a route that avoids the rules; that breaches Exness's own-name requirement and Tunisian law may also apply.

Swap-free trading for Tunisian clients

Tunisia is on the Help Center list of swap-free countries. The status covers the whole Personal Area, so every account type carries zero swap on all instruments, and an overnight administrative fee may apply on some instruments according to Exness. To check, open Exness benefits, Trading conditions and Swap-Free in the Personal Area. Details: swap-free and Islamic account guide.

  • The Conseil du Marché Financier (cmf.tn) is the securities-market regulator and the Central Bank of Tunisia oversees banks and foreign exchange. We found no Exness authorisation from either.
  • Exness operates through several group companies authorised by different financial regulators around the world. The company that serves you is named in your client agreement and in the footer of your Personal Area. Check the current list on Exness's regulation page and confirm it on the regulator's own register.
  • With no Tunisian supervisor, your recourse is the Exness complaints route and the dispute body named in your agreement (Exness regulation).
  • For tax, ask a Tunisian accountant how trading income is treated and keep your records.

Language: Arabic and French

Exness support is available 24/7 in English, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Arabic, Hindi and Urdu, with tickets answered within 24 hours according to Exness. Arabic is covered. French, widely used in Tunisian banking and business, is not on the published list, so French speakers will need Arabic or English for support and should expect English-language platform menus. People who search for "exness tunisie" in French should expect this English-language gap.

Trading hours in Tunisian time (UTC+1, no daylight saving)

Accounts, leverage and platforms

Exness lists Standard, Standard Cent, Pro, Raw Spread and Zero accounts (account types). Default leverage is 1:2000 by default up to USD 29,999.99 of equity, 1:1000 from USD 30,000 and 1:500 from USD 100,000. A 0.01-lot EURUSD position at an illustrative price near 1.10 has a notional of about USD 1,100, so margin is about USD 2.20 at 1:500. See the leverage guide. Platforms: MT4, MT5, Exness Terminal and the Exness Trade app (download guide).

The demo is a Standard MT5 account with USD 10,000 of virtual funds, added when you register; you can reset it. Standard Cent has no demo. Use it to practise placing a stop loss, to see how lot size changes margin, and to settle on a risk per trade before any dinar leaves your account. See the demo account guide.
