Short answer: In Bahrain one institution, the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), licenses banks, insurers, investment firms and capital markets activity, so there is only one register to check. Exness lists Bahrain among the countries whose registered clients get swap-free status automatically, and the Bahraini dinar (BHD) is one of its account currencies. We could not confirm from Exness's own documents that a Bahraini authorisation exists, so check the CBB public register before you deposit.

Sources: the Exness Help Center (swap-free countries, account currencies, support, stop out, payments), checked October 29, 2026, plus the public regulator websites named below. We did not open an Exness account from Bahrain.
One regulator, one register: the CBB
The Central Bank of Bahrain and Financial Institutions Law, issued as Decree No. 64 of 2006, made the CBB the single regulator of the kingdom's financial sector; the CBB describes it as the final stage in creating a single regulator, covering banking, insurance, investment business and capital markets (CBB, Laws & Regulations; Al Tamimi & Co. comparison of GCC regulators). Article 40 of that law requires a CBB licence for any regulated service, and the licensing conditions sit in the CBB Rulebook. For a trader this simplifies the question: unlike in Qatar, where several bodies share the work, a Bahrain-based financial firm should appear on the CBB's own register or not at all.
Exness's Help Center says only that it operates through several group companies and that your Personal Area footer names the one serving you. We found no Bahrain-specific statement and could not open exness.com (it blocked automated access), so we do not claim a Bahraini authorisation either way. A company that is authorised elsewhere can still serve Bahraini residents; the client agreement says which regulator that is.
How to check in ten minutes:
- Register and read the footer of your Personal Area for the company name that serves you.
- Search that company on the public register of licensed firms at the Central Bank of Bahrain: www.cbb.gov.bh.
- Read the client agreement for the named company, its regulator and the complaint route.
- Treat claims on third-party review sites as unverified until they match steps 2 and 3.
Exness operates through several group companies authorised by different financial regulators around the world. The company that serves you is named in your client agreement and in the footer of your Personal Area. Check the current list on Exness's regulation page and confirm it on the regulator's own register. For the wider picture, see Exness regulation; Forex broker UAE is the closest Gulf comparison page we have.

BHD accounts and the 0.376 peg
The dinar is pegged at about 0.376 per US dollar, so a USD account has little exchange-rate risk for a Bahrain resident. A deposit of BHD 376 equals about USD 1,000 before any fee or margin on the rate, and the USD 200 that some account types need is about BHD 75. At the peg one dinar is worth roughly USD 2.66, so balances in BHD look small next to the same amount in dollars.
Choose the account currency when you create the trading account; it cannot be changed later. BHD is on the Help Center list, and so are USD, EUR and GBP. Standard Cent accounts are offered only in cent currencies such as USC, so a BHD account means Standard, Pro, Raw Spread or Zero. Conversions apply when your payment method is in a different currency from the account currency, and on a BHD account every profit and loss is converted into dinars, so small conversion effects appear on each result. Use the rate your bank or provider shows on the day.
Exness does not publish payment methods by country. What is available to you depends on your region, verification and provider availability, and appears in the Deposit tab of your Personal Area. Payments must come from accounts in your own name, and limits stay until you are fully verified. Withdrawals go back by the currency and route of the deposit. Details are in Exness deposit and withdrawal and minimum deposit.
Swap-free status for clients in Bahrain
Exness does not ask Bahraini clients to submit a separate Islamic account request. For clients registered from the listed countries, swap-free status is assigned automatically and applies to every trading account in the same Personal Area, with zero swap on all instruments. To confirm, open Trading conditions under Exness benefits in your Personal Area and select Swap-Free.
- Exness says an overnight administrative fee may apply on some instruments, so read the instrument specification instead of assuming the fee is zero.
- Clients from other countries have swap-free trading on eligible instruments by default.
- Swap-free is a product feature. Whether it meets your religious requirements is a question for a qualified scholar.
Full details are in Exness swap-free and Islamic account guide.
Which account type, and what the risk settings are
BHD is available on Standard, Pro, Raw Spread and Zero. Standard suits most beginners with a low minimum that depends on the payment method; Pro, Raw Spread and Zero need at least USD 200 in some regions. Raw Spread is commission-based, with XAUUSD at 3.5 USD per lot per side, and Zero charges 5.5 USD per lot per side on XAUUSD. See account types.
Maximum leverage depends on the equity in the trading account, from 1:2000 by default below USD 5,000 down to 1:500 at USD 100,000 and above, and the entity serving you can set tighter limits; the tiers and conditions are in the leverage guide. Margin call is at 60% on Standard and Standard Cent and 30% on Pro, Raw Spread and Zero. High leverage does not change risk per trade; a tight stop-loss with a large lot can still lose the account on a short move. Negative Balance Protection resets a negative balance to zero after a stop out (stop out explained).
Manama trading hours (UTC+3)
Bahrain uses UTC+3 all year. Platform charts use Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+0), which the Help Center says cannot be changed, so convert times before you place a news trade. Bahrain's weekend is Friday and Saturday, while the forex market closes in the early hours of Saturday and reopens in the early hours of Monday Bahrain time. Tokyo opens at about 03:00 Bahrain time, London at about 11:00 (10:00 during UK summer time) and New York at about 16:00 (15:00 during US summer time); US data releases usually arrive at about 16:30 (15:30). For instrument-specific sessions, see Exness trading hours.
Getting started from Bahrain
Register with your email and choose Bahrain as your country; the region sets your payment methods and cannot be changed afterwards. A demo account uses virtual funds and needs no deposit (demo guide). To go live, verify with a valid government ID and proof of address that matches your country of residence (verification), open an account in your currency on MT4, MT5, the Exness Terminal or the Exness Trade app, and deposit by a method shown in the Deposit tab, in your own name. Support is available 24/7, including in Arabic. If you move permanently to another country you must register a new account there, according to the Help Center.
Reviews, scams and tax
Exness says it belongs to The Financial Commission, whose compensation fund covers only its own judgments up to a set limit (EUR 20,000 per client) and does not cover trading losses. Before you rely on a review, check its date and whether the reviewer names the company on their account. Typical warning signs in the region: a "manager" who contacts you on WhatsApp or Telegram, promises of fixed monthly returns, requests to send funds to a personal account, or a link that is not the official Exness domain. Exness staff never ask for your password or one-time code.
Tax rules for individuals and companies differ and they change. The National Bureau for Revenue is the body to ask about trading income, and you should also consider the tax law of any other country where you are resident.
