Short answer: Searches for "exness demo account turkey" have one answer: register with your email and Exness creates a Standard MT5 demo account with USD 10,000 in virtual funds, no deposit and no card. Turkey (Türkiye) is on the Exness Help Center's list of 33 swap-free countries, so a live account also has zero swap on all instruments. On the legal side, Exness has no licence from Turkey's Capital Markets Board (SPK) that we could find, so Turkish regulatory protection should not be assumed.

Exness demo account in Turkey: step by step
- Open the Exness registration page and enter your email and password.
- Tick the box confirming you are not a citizen or resident of the United States, then choose Turkey as your country.
- Confirm your email. Exness takes you to Exness Terminal and creates your Personal Area.
- In My Accounts, open the Demo tab: a Standard MT5 demo account with a USD 10,000 virtual balance is already there.
- Want MT4 or another account type? Select Open Account, choose Standard, Pro, Zero or Raw Spread, choose Demo, then pick the currency, leverage and platform.
- Trade it in Exness Terminal, in MT5 on a PC or Mac, or in the Exness Trade app on Android and iOS.
Things that surprise new users: the demo has no expiry date promised by Exness, but inactive demo accounts can be deleted and cannot be restored; there is no demo for Standard Cent; and you can change the virtual balance with Set Balance. Login and reset problems are covered in our demo account guide. Platform downloads: Exness download for PC, Android and iOS.
What to test on the demo before using lira
- Position size. On a USD 10,000 demo, risk 1% (USD 100) per trade and see how many pips of stop loss that allows at each lot size.
- Gold and indices. Spreads and commissions differ by instrument and account. For reference, Exness lists XAUUSD commission at 3.5 USD per lot per side on Raw Spread and 5.5 USD on Zero.
- Session behaviour. Trade the same pair at the London open and at the New York open and compare the movement.
Swap-free: Türkiye is on the list
The Help Center's swap-free page names Turkiye with Algeria, Egypt, Indonesia, Morocco, Pakistan and others. For clients registered from Turkey this means swap-free status on the whole Personal Area, with zero swap on all instruments, and no separate Islamic account application. An overnight administrative fee may apply on some instruments, so read each instrument's specification. You can check the status under Trading conditions in the Personal Area. See Exness swap-free and Islamic account guide.
Is Exness legal in Turkey?
The Capital Markets Board (SPK, Sermaye Piyasası Kurulu) licenses and supervises investment firms in Turkey, and it publishes announcements about firms operating without authorisation at spk.gov.tr. We found no Turkish licence for Exness. Therefore:
- Exness is not supervised in Turkey, and there is no Turkish compensation or complaint route against it.
- Turkish rules on offering investment services to residents apply to the firm, and the SPK may act on unauthorised services; the practical risk for you as a client is limited protection and possible access problems.
- Exness does not say which of its entities contracts with Turkish residents; the client agreement does. See Exness regulation.
This is a short factual note, not legal advice.
Depositing from lira: the exchange-rate point
Many Turkish traders look for Exness deposit routes such as bank transfer (EFT, FAST or IBAN), local cards such as Troy, or e-wallets. Whether Exness offers any of these is shown only in your Deposit tab; the list depends on your registered region, verification status and provider availability. Payments must come from accounts in your own name.
The currency effect is larger for lira users than for most. Illustrative example with USD 1 = TRY 40 at deposit:
| Step | Rate | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit TRY 8,000 | 40 | USD 200 |
| Trading result | break-even | USD 200 |
| Withdraw USD 200 and convert | 42 | TRY 8,400 |
| Same, if the lira had strengthened to | 38 | TRY 7,600 |
The USD balance did not change, but the lira value changed by 5% either way. This is exchange-rate risk on top of trading risk, and it affects your lira total whether or not the trades win. It is an example, not a forecast of where the rate will go.
Minimum deposits: Standard and Standard Cent are low and depend on the method and region; Pro, Raw Spread and Zero need at least USD 200 depending on region, about TRY 8,000 at the illustrative rate. See Exness minimum deposit and Exness payments.
Market hours in Turkey (UTC+3)
Turkey uses UTC+3 all year with no daylight saving, which makes the schedule easy to remember in Istanbul or Ankara time:
- London opens at about 10:00 or 11:00, depending on UK daylight saving.
- New York opens at about 15:00 or 16:00.
- US data releases such as non-farm payrolls arrive at about 15:30 or 16:30.
- Overlap of London and New York runs from the mid-afternoon to about 19:00 or 20:00.
Forex trades five days a week. Check instrument-specific times in Exness trading hours.
Accounts and leverage
Standard, Standard Cent, Pro, Raw Spread and Zero are available; compare them in account types. Default leverage is 1:2000 up to 4,999.99 USD of equity (unlimited if conditions are met), 1:1000 for 30,000 to 99,999 and 1:500 above 100,000 (leverage guide). The more leverage you use, the closer a stop out is. The Help Center lists support in English, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Arabic, Hindi and Urdu, but not Turkish, so be ready to write in English.
Opening a live account
- Register and finish the demo steps above.
- Verify with your T.C. kimlik card or passport and proof of address; see verification.
- Open a live account on MT4 or MT5.
- Deposit by a method in your own name.
Tax matters sit with the Revenue Administration (GİB, Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı). How foreign trading income is treated depends on your situation, so keep records and ask a Turkish tax adviser.

Turkish search terms and what they mean in Exness
If you search in Turkish, these phrases map to the Exness features covered on this page: demo hesap is the demo account, hesap açma is account opening, para yatırma is a deposit and para çekme is a withdrawal. In the Personal Area, the corresponding actions are the Demo tab in My Accounts, Open Account, Deposit and Withdrawal. The interface and support are in English and the other languages listed by Exness, not necessarily Turkish.
Lira-based risk plan
At the illustrative TRY 40 per USD, a TRY 8,000 deposit is USD 200. Risking 1% per trade is USD 2, or TRY 80. If the lira weakens against the dollar over a few months, the same USD 2 risk is worth more lira, and your lira-denominated results shift even though your trading did not change. Keep two records: your result in USD, which is what the platform shows, and the lira value of deposits and withdrawals on their dates.
Gold, indices and the Turkish trader
Turkish traders often use gold (XAUUSD) and USDTRY-linked ideas. Exness lists CFDs on over 200 instruments, including forex pairs, commodities, cryptocurrencies, stocks and indices. Check whether USDTRY is offered on your account, and look at its spread and swap in the platform before trading it; lira pairs can have wide spreads and sharp moves around Turkish central bank decisions and inflation releases. Swap is zero for clients from Turkey, but an overnight administrative fee may apply on some instruments.
How to judge an offshore broker from Turkey
Use the same checklist for Exness as for any broker serving you from outside Turkey:
- Read the client agreement for the named company and its regulator.
- Check whether the SPK has issued a warning about the firm or its domain.
- Test a small deposit and withdrawal before sending a larger amount.
- Use only your own bank account or wallet for payments.
- Keep screenshots and statements, and ignore social media accounts offering "managed" profits.
Never trust anyone who asks for your Exness password or a one-time code, including people claiming to be support staff.
Checklist before you deposit lira
- Finish the demo plan and keep a journal of at least 20 trades.
- Read the Deposit tab for your registered region, and note fees, limits and processing time for each method.
- Compare the exchange rate your bank or provider uses with the market rate on the day.
- Complete verification so deposit limits are lifted (verification guide).
- Decide the maximum you will lose in total, and never fund from borrowed money or credit.
- Withdraw a small test amount early so you know how long your method takes (withdrawal time).
