Short answer: Yes, you can register an Exness account with Ghana as your country, and the Exness Help Center lists the Ghanaian cedi (GHS) among the account currencies for Standard, Pro, Raw Spread and Zero accounts. Exness does not publish a list of payment methods by country, so we cannot promise that MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash or AT Money is available: the Deposit tab in your Personal Area shows exactly what your registered region gets. We found no Ghanaian licence for Exness, so protections would be those of the Exness entity named in your client agreement, not Ghanaian ones.

Disclosure: OnForex earns a referral commission if you open an Exness account through our links.

Ghana is not on the swap-free country list, so Ghanaian clients receive the standard rule: swap-free on eligible instruments by default, with an overnight administrative fee possible on some. See Exness swap-free and Islamic account guide.

Mobile money and Exness: the three-step check

Ghana is a mobile money country, so "exness mobile money ghana" is a natural search. Public documentation does not tell us which wallets Exness offers Ghanaian clients, so use this process rather than a promise.

  1. Register first. The region you register from decides the methods you see and cannot be changed later.
  2. Open Deposit. Each listed method shows its processing time, fee and minimum and maximum amount. If a mobile money option such as MTN MoMo (the largest network), Telecel Cash (formerly Vodafone Cash) or AT Money (formerly AirtelTigo Money) appears, use the guide inside the method.
  3. Match the name. The wallet must be registered in the same full legal name as your Exness account. Third-party payments are not allowed, so a friend's or relative's wallet will fail.

Two cost points apply regardless of method. First, your network operator charges its own transaction fees, which Exness does not control. Second, Exness says the currency you choose when depositing must be used again on withdrawal, and exchange rates apply at the time of the transaction. A mobile money wallet holds cedis, so a deposit into a USD account is converted.

Illustration, at an assumed USD 1 = GHS 12 (check today's rate):

DepositConvertedNotes
GHS 600USD 50Might be enough for a Standard or Standard Cent account, depending on the region's minimum
GHS 2,400USD 200The first-deposit minimum quoted for Pro, Raw Spread and Zero in some regions
GHS 6,000USD 500Illustration only: required margin depends on the instrument and leverage

If you deposit in cedis and the cedi weakens against the dollar while you hold a USD balance, your cedi value rises when you withdraw, and the opposite if it strengthens. The Bank of Ghana's reports show how large this movement has been in recent years. That is currency risk on top of trading risk, and not a source of profit you can plan for. Our Exness payments guide and minimum deposit page cover the rest.

Minimum deposit for Ghana

Exness does not publish a single figure. The Help Center says the practical minimum depends on account type, payment method, region and market conditions. Standard and Standard Cent have low first deposits; Pro, Raw Spread and Zero need at least USD 200 in some regions. After the first deposit only the payment method's minimum applies. To see your own numbers, go to Trading, Accounts, Open account.

Standard Cent is the smallest way to start live because the lot is a cent lot, and it has no demo. For practice, use a Standard demo.

Opening an account with a Ghana Card

  2. Open a demo account from My Accounts and practise with virtual funds. See the demo account guide.
  3. Complete your economic profile and verification: a government ID (for example your Ghana Card or passport) and proof of address, such as a utility bill or bank statement. See Exness verification.
  4. Open a live account and choose MT4, MT5 or the Exness Trade app, and the currency (GHS or USD, for example).

Exness login and contact in Ghana

Many Ghanaians search for "exness login" and "exness contact number". The login is your email and password in the Personal Area, then the Trade button on an account. If you forget your password, use the reset option on the sign-in page and not a link sent to you by someone else. See Exness login help.

For contact, the Help Center says support specialists are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through a support-hub ticket (answers within 24 hours) or live chat after you log in. We did not find a Ghana-specific phone number in the Help Center, so do not trust numbers posted on social media or in WhatsApp groups. A support agent will never ask for your password or one-time code. See customer support.

A short fact check:

  • The Bank of Ghana regulates banks and foreign exchange under the Foreign Exchange Act, 2006 (Act 723), and the SEC Ghana regulates securities markets and domestic investment firms.
  • On October 23, 2026 we looked at the SEC Ghana public notices and found warnings about unlicensed schemes, but none that names Exness. We also found nothing naming Exness on the Bank of Ghana site. We found no Ghanaian licence for Exness either.
  • Exness belongs to The Financial Commission, which resolves disputes, and it states that no government-backed compensation fund covers its clients.

Re-check both websites before you deposit, since notices change, and read your client agreement. For rules on forex generally in Ghana, see forex trading in Ghana and Exness regulation.

Time zone: Ghana is on GMT

Ghana is on UTC+0 all year, so local time is also server-time-friendly:

  • London opens at 08:00 GMT (07:00 during UK summer time) and is busy for EURUSD and GBPUSD.
  • New York opens at 13:00 GMT (12:00 during US summer time), and US data typically comes at 13:30 or 12:30.
  • Tokyo opens around midnight GMT, so the Asian session is overnight in Accra.
  • Weekly close is Friday around 22:00 GMT.

See Exness trading hours. Keep a trading journal; the GRA taxes income from all sources and trading income may count as business income. Ask a Ghanaian tax professional.
