Short answer: Angola is not named in the list of places Exness says it does not serve, so you can try choosing Angola at registration and open a free demo account. The kwanza (AOA) is not an Exness account currency, so an Angolan client holds a US dollar account and bears the cost of converting kwanzas. We found no statement from Angola's securities regulator (CMC) or central bank (BNA) that names Exness, and Portuguese is not on the Exness support-language list, so read the legal section before depositing. Kwanzas and dollars: what a conversion costs

With no AOA account, the usual route is a USD account. If your bank or provider changes kwanzas into dollars before the money reaches Exness, that rate is a cost outside Exness. The Help Center advises depositing in the currency of your trading account, or checking the conversion rate first.

We did not retrieve a current official rate, so here is a worked example with an illustrative rate that is not a quote. If a bank sold dollars at 900 kwanzas per US dollar, then to receive USD 100 you would need 100 x 900 = 90,000 AOA. Ask for both the rate at which the bank sells dollars and the rate at which it buys them back; the gap is what a round trip costs before a single trade. Record the rate for every deposit and withdrawal. Rules on moving foreign currency can change, so ask your bank what applies to you.

Searches for "Exness gold trading Angola" are about XAUUSD, which is quoted in US dollars, so a USD account avoids a second currency layer. Under the Exness schedule after US daylight saving ended on November 1, 2026, XAUUSD is closed on Sunday until 23:01:30 UTC, in close-only mode until 23:05:00 and open from then; it closes on Friday at 21:58 UTC. From Monday to Thursday it pauses from 21:58 UTC and reopens at 23:02 UTC (Help Center, article 31342732737180). Angola uses West Africa Time, UTC+1 all year, so that is:

Is Exness legal in Angola?

What we could check:

• The Comissão do Mercado de Capitais (CMC) supervises Angola's securities market, and the Banco Nacional de Angola (BNA) is the central bank. In April 2024 press reports said the two signed a memorandum to coordinate supervision of banks active in the securities market (Ver Angola).
• We found no CMC or BNA statement that names Exness and no rule on retail forex or CFD trading with an offshore broker in what we could read. We cannot say whether this activity is permitted, restricted or outside their scope. An Angolan lawyer can say.
• Exness operates through several group companies authorised by different regulators. The company that serves you is named in your client agreement. See Exness regulation and confirm on the regulator's own register.

Tax treatment of foreign trading income is outside what we verified; ask an Angolan accountant and keep records.
