Exness El Salvador: Is It Legal? US Dollar Account, Demo

Short answer: El Salvador is not named in the list of places Exness says it does not serve, so you can try choosing El Salvador at registration and open a free demo account. El Salvador uses the US dollar, and USD is an Exness account currency, so a dollar account needs no currency conversion on the Exness side. We found no statement from the Superintendencia del Sistema Financiero (SSF) that names Exness, and Spanish is not on the Exness support-language list, so read the legal section before depositing.

Is Exness available in El Salvador?

The Exness footer says its entities do not offer services to residents of certain jurisdictions, including the USA, Canada, Iran, North Korea, Europe and the United Kingdom, "and others". Dollars in El Salvador

Because the US dollar is the currency you earn and spend in, a USD account is the natural choice and the account currency matches your bank balance. The Help Center says conversions apply when a deposit or withdrawal is in a different currency from the account, so dollar-for-dollar payments avoid that step. Your bank may still charge fees for an international transfer, and the payment method decides the fee, so check the Deposit tab before sending money.

A USD account also makes profit and loss easy to read, since pip values on many pairs are dollar-based. Cent accounts use cent currencies; see Standard Cent.

Deposits, withdrawals and minimum deposit

The Help Center does not publish payment methods by country; the Deposit tab in your Personal Area lists what is available to you with limits and processing times. Is Exness legal in El Salvador?

What we could check:

• The Superintendencia del Sistema Financiero (SSF) supervises the participants of the financial system. In the securities market it authorises, supervises and oversees participants and ensures compliance with the Ley del Mercado de Valores, according to its public posts (ssf.gob.sv).
• We found no SSF statement that names Exness and no rule on retail forex or CFD trading by foreign firms in what we could read. We cannot say whether this activity is permitted, restricted or outside the SSF's scope. A Salvadoran lawyer can say.
• Exness operates through several group companies authorised by different regulators. The company that serves you is named in your client agreement. See Exness regulation and confirm on the regulator's own register.

Tax treatment of foreign trading income is outside what we verified; ask a Salvadoran accountant and keep records.
