Short answer: Venezuela is not named in the list of places Exness says it does not serve, so you can try choosing Venezuela at registration and open a free demo account. The bolivar (VES) is not an Exness account currency, so an Exness account would be held in US dollars or another listed currency. The practical question for Venezuelans is less the account than the money: how you move funds between bolivars and dollars, and what that costs at the official and parallel rates.

Sources: the Exness Help Center (account currencies, first-time deposits, verification documents, swap-free status, US daylight-saving notice of 30 October 2026), checked November 2, 2026; the Exness website footer (country restrictions), checked October 29, 2026; Convenio Cambiario No. 1, Gaceta Oficial Extraordinaria No. 6.405 of 7 September 2018 (reproduced by finanzasdigital.com), read November 2, 2026; a Yahoo Finance report on the exchange-rate gap (July 2026). We did not open a Venezuelan account, did not test any deposit and could not read current BCV or SUNAVAL notices on forex brokers.

Is Exness available in Venezuela?

The footer of the Exness website lists the USA, Canada, Iran, North Korea, Europe, the UK, Russia and Belarus, "and others", as places it does not serve. Venezuela is not named, but because the list ends with "and others" the country menu in the registration form is the final check. If Venezuela can be selected, you can create a Personal Area and a demo account.

Exness bases acceptance on where you permanently and lawfully live. If you live in Venezuela, register from Venezuela with documents from there. If you have emigrated, as many Venezuelans have, register from the country where you now permanently live with documents from that country.

Bolivars, dollars and the exchange rate

Your account currency is fixed when the account is created, and Exness applies conversion whenever your deposit or withdrawal currency differs from it. With no VES account, a Venezuelan trader holds USD (or another listed currency) and has to bring money in and out of bolivars somewhere else.

Venezuela has a long history of exchange controls. Convenio Cambiario No. 1, published in the Gaceta Oficial on 7 September 2018, restored free convertibility of the currency and let the exchange rate float with supply and demand. It also says the central bank (BCV) publishes a reference rate, regulates the exchange market, and sells foreign currency only according to the availability its board sets, and that banks and exchange houses serve retail customers. We did not check later amendments, so treat it as background, not as the current rulebook.

Press reports show why the rate matters. A July 2026 report put the BCV official rate near 653 bolivars per dollar and the parallel USDT rate near 740, a gap of about 13 percent, and said analysts urged caution. That is a report, not a BCV statement, and the numbers have moved since.

What this means for a trader:

  • Which rate you get is part of your cost. Converting bolivars to dollars at the official rate or at a parallel rate can differ by a double-digit percentage. Write down the rate for every deposit and withdrawal and judge your result in the currency you actually live on.
  • A winning trade in dollars is not automatically a winning trade in bolivars. Inflation and devaluation can change the bolivar value of a balance while a position is open.
  • Keep the account in the same name as the funding source. Exness accepts first deposits only from accounts in the client's own name.

Deposits and withdrawals for Venezuelan clients

The Help Center does not publish a method list by country. The Deposit tab in your Personal Area shows the methods available to you, with minimum and maximum limits and processing times. Complete the economic profile and verification first, since they affect which methods are enabled, and read the minimum and the processing time before you press Continue.

We cannot tell you which methods will appear for Venezuela. If your bank blocks or delays international payments, Exness cannot change that. Withdrawal processing time can vary by payment method. See the deposit and withdrawal guide and withdrawal time.

Minimum deposit in Venezuela

Account typeFirst-deposit rule
Standard Cent, StandardLow, based on the payment method and the region of registration
Pro, Raw Spread, ZeroA minimum that depends on the region; at least USD 200 in some regions

Every method also has its own minimum that applies to every deposit. If the account rule is USD 200 and the method minimum is USD 10, the first deposit must be at least USD 200. For many households a deposit of that size is a large share of monthly income, so size positions with the stop-out level in mind (stop out guide). See the minimum deposit guide.

Short, checkable facts:

  • The Superintendencia Nacional de Valores (SUNAVAL) regulates securities traded through the exchanges it authorises. Under Convenio Cambiario No. 1 it approves rules for securities operations denominated in local currency, and sets rules for brokers that hold foreign-currency securities.
  • The Banco Central de Venezuela administers the exchange market, and the banking superintendency (SUDEBAN) supervises banks.
  • We did not find a SUNAVAL or BCV statement about retail online forex or CFD brokers, and we found nothing that names Exness. That means we cannot say whether this activity is permitted, restricted or outside their scope. A Venezuelan lawyer can say.
  • Exness operates through several group companies authorised by different financial regulators around the world. The company that serves you is named in your client agreement and in the footer of your Personal Area. Check the current list on Exness's regulation page and confirm it on the regulator's own register. See Exness regulation.

Never give your password or a one-time code to anyone claiming to be Exness, and be careful with chat groups that promise returns or "signals".

Market hours in Venezuela (UTC-4)

Venezuela uses UTC-4 all year with no daylight saving. On 30 October 2026 Exness published a schedule change for the end of US daylight saving time on 1 November: forex pairs now open on Sunday at 22:05 UTC and close on Friday at 21:59 UTC. Metals, energies and indices have their own hours.

Event (forex pairs)Caracas time
Weekly open (Sunday 22:05 UTC)Sunday 18:05
Weekly close (Friday 21:59 UTC)Friday 17:59

The market closes in the evening of Friday, and it opens in the evening of Sunday, so weekend gaps affect an open position. The schedule moves by an hour when US clocks change again, so check the instrument page in your Personal Area. Spreads can vary and widen with market volatility, news and market open/close. See Exness trading hours.

Swap, leverage and risk

Venezuela is not on the swap-free country list, so swap rules follow your account and instrument (Islamic account guide). Maximum leverage depends on your equity and the entity serving you (leverage guide). Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains; read risk management.

Support and scams
