Short answer: Honduras is not named in the list of places Exness says it does not serve, so you can try choosing Honduras at registration and open a free demo account. The lempira (HNL) is not an Exness account currency, so a Honduran client holds a US dollar account and pays for the conversion of lempiras at the bank or provider. We found no CNBS statement that names Exness, and Spanish is not on the Exness support-language list, so read the legal section before depositing.

Sources: the Exness Help Center (account currencies, first-time deposits, verification documents, contact, swap-free status, trading-hours update for the end of US daylight saving time), checked November 3, 2026; the Exness website footer, checked November 3, 2026; the home page and notices of the Comision Nacional de Bancos y Seguros (cnbs.gob.hn), read November 3, 2026. We did not open a Honduran account, did not test deposits and could not read the text of the CNBS notices on unauthorised investors, which is published as an image.

Is Exness available in Honduras?

The footer of the Exness website says the entities listed there do not offer services to residents of certain jurisdictions, including the USA, Canada, Iran, North Korea, Europe, the United Kingdom, Russia and Belarus, "and others". Honduras is not named, but the list is open, so the country menu in the registration form is the final check. If you can select Honduras, you can create a Personal Area and a demo account.

Exness decides by where you permanently and lawfully live. A Honduran living in the United States or Spain registers from that country with documents from there. We do not suggest choosing a country where you do not live.

Lempiras and dollars: what a conversion costs

The account currency is fixed when the account is created, and Exness applies conversion whenever a deposit or withdrawal is in a different currency. With no HNL account, the usual route is a USD account. If your bank or payment provider changes lempiras into dollars before the money reaches Exness, that exchange rate is a cost you pay outside Exness. The Help Center advises depositing in the currency of your trading account to avoid conversion charges, or checking the conversion rate before you deposit.

We could not read a current lempira reference rate from the Banco Central de Honduras (bch.hn) during our check, so this page gives no rate. To judge a quote yourself:

  1. Ask your bank or provider for the rate at which it sells dollars (you buy dollars with lempiras) and the rate at which it buys them back.
  2. Divide the lempiras you plan to send by the selling rate to get the dollars that arrive.
  3. Compare the two rates: the gap between them is what a round trip costs before a single trade.

Write the rate down for every deposit and withdrawal and judge your result in the currency you live on, not only in dollars. Pip values on many pairs are dollar-based, so a USD account also makes profit and loss easy to read.

Deposits and withdrawals

The Help Center does not publish payment methods by country. The Deposit tab in your Personal Area lists what is available to you with minimum and maximum limits and processing times. Payments must come from accounts in your own name; third-party accounts are not accepted. Completing the economic profile and verification affects which methods are enabled.

If your bank limits international payments, Exness cannot change that. Withdrawal processing time can vary by payment method. See deposit and withdrawal methods and withdrawal time.

Minimum deposit in Honduras

Account typeFirst-deposit rule
Standard Cent, StandardLow, based on the payment method and the region of registration
Pro, Raw Spread, ZeroA minimum that depends on the region; at least USD 200 in some regions

Every method also has its own minimum that applies to every deposit, so the figure in your Deposit tab is the one that counts. Size positions with the stop-out level in mind (stop out guide) and read the minimum deposit guide.

What we could check:

  • The Comision Nacional de Bancos y Seguros (CNBS) supervises the banking, insurance and securities sectors and publishes a list of authorised and supervised institutions on cnbs.gob.hn. On November 3, 2026 its home page showed a notice titled "Comunicado - Inversores no autorizados" (CNBS Circular 002/2026) and a later "Comunicado Alerta". The text is published as an image, so we cannot say what they cover or whether any company is named. They are general investor warnings, not a ruling on Exness.
  • We found no CNBS statement that names Exness and no rule on retail forex or CFD trading in what we could read. That means we cannot say whether this activity is permitted, restricted or outside the CNBS scope. A Honduran lawyer can say.
  • Exness operates through several group companies authorised by different financial regulators around the world. The company that serves you is named in your client agreement and in the footer of your Personal Area. Check the current list on Exness's regulation page and confirm it on the regulator's own register. See Exness regulation.

Tax treatment of foreign trading income is outside what we verified; ask a Honduran accountant and keep records of deposits and withdrawals.

How to open an Exness account from Honduras

  1. Register with your email, choose Honduras as your country and set a password.
  2. Open a demo and test your plan with virtual funds (demo account guide).
  3. Verify. Upload a proof of identity (passport, national identity card or driver's licence; it must stay valid for at least three months after upload) and a proof of address issued in the last six months, such as a utility bill, bank statement or local tax bill. The names must match exactly. Verification can take up to 24 hours (verification guide).
  4. Create a live account in USD and choose the type and platform (account types).
  5. Deposit a small amount from an account in your name, and test a withdrawal early.
  6. Trade with a stop-loss on MT4, MT5 or the Exness Trade app (app guide).

Because Spanish support is not listed, plan to contact Exness in English or rely on the screens and help articles (customer support).

Market hours in Honduras (UTC-6)

Honduras stays on UTC-6 all year with no daylight saving (checked against the IANA time zone database for America/Tegucigalpa). Exness published a schedule change for the end of US daylight saving time on November 1, 2026: forex pairs now open on Sunday at 22:05 UTC and close on Friday at 21:59 UTC (Help Center, article 31342732737180). Metals, energies and indices have their own hours.

Event (forex pairs)Tegucigalpa time
Weekly open (Sunday 22:05 UTC)Sunday 16:05
Weekly close (Friday 21:59 UTC)Friday 15:59

The market closes on Friday afternoon and opens on Sunday afternoon, so a weekend gap can hit an open position. From the second Sunday of March the Exness schedule moves one hour earlier, which would make the open Sunday 15:05, so check the instrument page in your Personal Area. Spreads can vary and widen with volatility, news and market open/close. See Exness trading hours.

Leverage, risk and scams

Maximum leverage depends on your equity and the entity serving you (leverage guide) and magnifies losses as well as gains (risk management). Be wary of anyone who offers to "manage" your account or guarantees returns, and never share your password or a one-time code. Contact Exness only through your Personal Area.
