Short answer: Tajikistan is not named in the list of places Exness says it does not serve, so you can try choosing Tajikistan at registration and open a free demo account. Tajikistan is on the Exness Help Center list of countries that receive swap-free status automatically. The somoni (TJS) is not an Exness account currency, so a Tajik client holds a USD account (or another listed currency) and bears the cost of converting somoni. Russian and Tajik are not on the support-language list. Gold (XAUUSD) has its own hours, shown below in Dushanbe time.

We did not open a Tajik account or test deposits.
Is Exness available in Tajikistan?
The Exness footer says its entities do not offer services to residents of certain jurisdictions, including the USA, Canada, Iran, North Korea, Europe and the United Kingdom, "and others". Tajikistan is not named, but the list is open, so the country menu in the registration form is the final check. If you can select Tajikistan, you can create a Personal Area and a demo account.
Exness decides by where you permanently and lawfully live (Help Center). We do not suggest choosing a country where you do not live.
| Question | Answer | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Is TJS an account currency? | No | Help Center, "Trading account currencies" |
| Is USD an account currency? | Yes, for all account types | Same article |
| Swap-free status | Tajikistan is on the swap-free country list | Help Center, article 18055079599132 |
| Russian or Tajik support? | Not listed; English, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu | Help Center, "How do I contact Exness?" |
| Demo account | Free, all types except Standard Cent | Help Center, demo accounts |
No somoni account: how to handle the conversion
An account currency cannot be changed after you create the account, and conversions apply on deposits and withdrawals made in a different currency (Help Center). The list includes USD, EUR and, among Tajikistan's neighbours, the Kazakh tenge (KZT) and the Uzbek som (UZS), but not TJS. Choosing KZT or UZS only makes sense if you actually hold those currencies, because each extra step adds a conversion.
Illustration at an assumed rate of USD 1 = TJS 10.00. This is a round example, not a quote; your bank or exchange office shows its own rates.
| Dollar amount | Illustrative somoni | Note |
|---|---|---|
| USD 50 | TJS 500 | A small test deposit, if your method and account type allow it |
| USD 200 | TJS 2,000 | The minimum first deposit stated for Pro, Raw Spread and Zero in some regions |
| USD 1,000 | TJS 10,000 | The gap between buy and sell rates grows with the amount |
Now assume your bank sells dollars at TJS 10.20 and buys them at TJS 10.00 (again an example). Buying USD 200 costs 200 x 10.20 = TJS 2,040. Selling the same USD 200 back returns 200 x 10.00 = TJS 2,000. The round trip costs TJS 40, which is about 1.96% of the amount you put in, before any payment fee. Ask for both rates and record them for every deposit and withdrawal.
Swap-free status in Tajikistan
A swap is the charge or credit for holding a position past the daily rollover. For clients registered in the listed countries, the Help Center says swap-free status is assigned automatically, covers every account type in your Personal Area, and means all trading instruments on those accounts have zero swap. To see your status, open Trading conditions under Exness benefits in your Personal Area, then Swap-Free.
- A caveat: Exness reserves the right to apply an administration fee on orders kept open overnight Monday to Friday, based on trading activity, and publishes a rate table per instrument and lot (Help Center). Read the row for your instrument before you hold it for days.
- Who benefits: swing traders who keep positions for days, and traders who avoid interest for religious reasons. Day traders who close before the rollover see little difference.
The swap-free and Islamic account guide lists the full set of countries. Tajikistan's neighbours Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are on the same list.
Gold (XAUUSD) from Tajikistan
XAUUSD is quoted in US dollars. Under the Exness schedule after US daylight saving ended on November 1, 2026, it is closed on Sunday until 23:01:30 UTC, in close-only mode until 23:05:00 and open from then; it closes on Friday at 21:58 UTC. From Monday to Thursday it pauses from 21:58 UTC and reopens at 23:02 UTC (Help Center, article 31342732737180). Tajikistan uses UTC+5 all year:
| Gold event | UTC | Dushanbe time |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly open | Sunday 23:05 | Monday 04:05 |
| Daily break starts (Mon-Thu) | 21:58 | 02:58 the next day |
| Daily break ends | 23:02 | 04:02 |
| Weekly close | Friday 21:58 | Saturday 02:58 |
See the gold trading guide.
Deposits, withdrawals and minimum deposit
The Help Center does not publish payment methods by country; the Deposit tab in your Personal Area lists what is available to you with limits and processing times. Payments must come from accounts in your own name. Processing time differs by method, so check it in your Personal Area. See deposit and withdrawal methods and withdrawal time.
| Account type | First-deposit rule |
|---|---|
| Standard Cent, Standard | Low, based on the payment method and region |
| Pro, Raw Spread, Zero | At least USD 200 in some regions |
Read the minimum deposit guide and the stop out guide.
Is Exness legal in Tajikistan?
What we could check:
- The National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) is the central bank. Its English website publishes lists of licensed banks, non-bank credit institutions, microcredit organisations and insurance market participants.
- We did not find, on the pages we could read, an NBT register of forex or CFD brokers, a statement naming Exness, or a rule on retail trading with an offshore broker. We cannot say whether this activity is permitted, restricted or outside the NBT's scope. The NBT or a lawyer in Tajikistan can say.
- Exness operates through several group companies authorised by different regulators. The company that serves you is named in your client agreement. See Exness regulation and confirm on the regulator's own register.
Tax treatment of foreign trading income is outside what we verified; ask a local accountant.
How to open an Exness account from Tajikistan
- Register with your email, choose Tajikistan as your country and set a password. The country cannot be changed later.
- Open a demo and test your plan. A Standard MT5 demo with virtual funds is created in your Personal Area; for MT4, Pro, Raw Spread or Zero, go to My Accounts, Open Account, then Demo (demo account guide).
- Verify with a proof of identity and a recent proof of address (check the date rule on the upload screen); names must match (verification guide).
- Create a live account in USD or another listed currency (account types).
- Deposit a small amount from an account in your name and test a withdrawal early.
- Trade with a stop-loss on MT4, MT5 or the Exness Trade app.
Because Russian and Tajik support are not listed, plan to contact Exness in English (customer support).
Market hours in Tajikistan (UTC+5)
Forex pairs open on Sunday at 22:05 UTC and close on Friday at 21:59 UTC (Help Center, article 31342732737180). Platform charts use Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+0), which the Help Center says cannot be changed, so convert times before you place a news trade.
| Event (forex pairs) | Dushanbe time |
|---|---|
| Weekly open (Sunday 22:05 UTC) | Monday 03:05 |
| Weekly close (Friday 21:59 UTC) | Saturday 02:59 |
From the second Sunday of March the Exness schedule moves one hour earlier, so the Monday open becomes 02:05 Dushanbe time. See Exness trading hours.
Leverage, risk and scams
Maximum leverage depends on your equity and the entity serving you (leverage guide) and magnifies losses as well as gains. Be wary of anyone offering to "manage" your account or promising fixed returns, including in Telegram or WhatsApp groups, and never share your password or a one-time code.
