Exness Paraguay: Is It Legal? Guarani, USD Account, Demo

Short answer: Paraguay is not named in the list of places Exness says it does not serve, so you can try choosing Paraguay at registration and open a free demo account. The guarani (PYG) is not an Exness account currency, so a Paraguayan client holds a US dollar account and pays for converting guaranies at the bank or provider. We found no Paraguayan authority statement that names Exness, and Spanish is not on the Exness support-language list, so read the legal section before depositing.

Is Exness available in Paraguay?

The Exness footer says its entities do not offer services to residents of certain jurisdictions, including the USA, Canada, Iran, North Korea, Europe and the United Kingdom, "and others". Paraguay is not named, but the list is open, so the country menu in the registration form is the final check. If you can select Paraguay, you can create a Personal Area and a demo account.

Guaranies and dollars: what a conversion costs

With no PYG account, the usual route is a USD account. If your bank or provider changes guaranies into dollars before the money reaches Exness, that exchange rate is a cost outside Exness. The Help Center advises depositing in the currency of your trading account, or checking the conversion rate first.

We give no guarani rate because we could not read an official reference rate we could cite for this page. To judge a quote:

1. Ask your bank or exchange house for the rate at which it sells dollars and the rate at which it buys them back.
2. Divide the guaranies you plan to send by the selling rate to get the dollars that arrive.
3. The gap between the two rates is what a round trip costs before a single trade.

Write the rate down for every deposit and withdrawal and judge your results in the currency you live on.

Deposits, withdrawals and minimum deposit

The Help Center does not publish payment methods by country; the Deposit tab in your Personal Area lists what is available to you with limits and processing times. Payments must come from accounts in your own name. If your bank limits international payments, Exness cannot change that. See deposit and withdrawal methods and withdrawal time.

Is Exness legal in Paraguay?

What we could check:

• The Banco Central del Paraguay (BCP) site lists a Superintendencia de Valores among its superintendencies, next to those for banks and insurance (bcp.gov.py). Older sources refer to a Comision Nacional de Valores (CNV); we did not verify how responsibility moved between them, so check the BCP site for the current securities supervisor.
• We found no statement from the BCP or its securities supervisor that names Exness, and no rule on retail forex or CFD trading in what we could read. We cannot say whether this activity is permitted, restricted or outside their scope. A Paraguayan lawyer can say.
• Exness operates through several group companies authorised by different regulators. The company that serves you is named in your client agreement. See Exness regulation and confirm on the regulator's own register.

Tax treatment of foreign trading income is outside what we verified; ask a Paraguayan accountant and keep records.

How to open an Exness account from Paraguay

1. Register with your email, choose Paraguay as your country and set a password.
2. Open a demo and test your plan (demo account guide).
3. Verify with a proof of identity (valid for at least three months after upload) and a proof of address from the last six months; names must match (verification guide).
4. Create a live account in USD (account types).
5. Deposit a small amount from an account in your name and test a withdrawal early.

Paraguay moved to permanent UTC-3 in October 2024 and has no daylight saving (IANA time zone database, America/Asuncion). If Paraguay changes its clocks again, recalculate. Forex pairs open on Sunday at 22:05 UTC and close on Friday at 21:59 UTC (Help Center, article 31342732737180).
